Geelong Gaol opened in 1853 and is one of Australia's most intact 19th century convict prisons.
Explore this prison after dark and be haunted by stories of convicts, murderers and lunatics who once called this three story blue stone building home.
The tour will take you back to a time when the building housed male and female prisoners, as well as children from the Geelong industrial school.

Tickets are non refundable except in the event that management cancels a tour - at which time all patrons will be notified in advance and be refunded.

believed to be affected by alcohol or drugs.

Is there a minimum number of people for tours to run?
Yes! We require 4 people in total before a tours will run. Our friendly phone staff will inform you if this is the case
Is there much walking on the tour?
Tours are an easy walk, with an emphasis on stories. Patrons please note that there are approximately 150 stairs.
Is the tour suitable for wheelchairs?
Unfortunately Geelong Gaol Ghost Tours are not suitable for wheelchairs
Are there toilets on the tour?
Yes there are toilets at the start of the tour. We highly recommend attending to this before the tour begins.
Will I see a 'ghost'?
Maybe, however Twisted History cannot guarantee any contact with the supernatural.
Do you set up ghosts?
No, we let the stories and atmosphere speak for themselves.
Can we take photos during the tour?
Yes! However we do request that flash photography be pointed away from the guides. Video cameras are not permitted.
