ON THIS DAY…… 11th October 1860 Joseph Finnigan was indicted for stealing, on the 17th September 1860, one pair of boots, the property of Thomas Allen, of Geelong. Prisoner pleaded ” Guilty,” and was sentenced to one year of hard labour in the gaol of Geelong.
