FAQS

Is there much walking on the tours?

Most of our tours are an easy walk, with an emphasis on stories, history and atmosphere. However, please ensure you wear the appropriate footwear for your tour location!

There are approximately 150 stairs over 3 levels at Geelong Gaol with no access for those with mobility issues to the upper floors.

The Bendigo and Chinatown Ghost Tours is a 90-minute walk on public streets, although there are some uneven surfaces throughout the tour.

Walking on hotel tours is dependent on location but may involve climbing down into cellars or climbing stairs to the second level.

If you have concerns about a particular tour, please contact our customer service team on 1300865800

Is the tour suitable for wheelchairs or prams?

Unfortunately, not all our tours are wheelchair-friendly or pram friendly. Limelight Tours are happy to discuss other possible options for those with mobility issues. Please call 1300865800 to discuss

Are there toilets on the tour?

There are toilets at the start of the Geelong Gaol tours and at the hotels. However, we highly recommend attending to this before the tour begins. Unfortunately, we do not have access to toilets on the street tours and cemetery tours.

Will I see a ‘ghost’?

Maybe, however Twisted History does not guarantee any contact with the paranormal

Do you set up ghosts?

No, we let the stories and atmosphere speak for themselves.

Is there graphic content on your tours?

Some of our tour content may not be suitable for all patrons and discretion is advised. Please call to discuss any concerns before booking your tour.

Can we take photos during the tour?

Yes! However, we do request that flash photography be pointed away from the guides.  Filming the entirety of any tour is strictly prohibited.
