K9 Display with Barwon Prison Dog Squad
The K9 Prison Squad will be at Geelong Gaol Museum for Law Week giving you an insight into the workings and history of the Victoria’s Prison Dog Squad.
This 70 minutes display will showcase the history and origins of the dog squad back to their beginnings at Pentridge; how many K9’s are working in the Corrections system; the roles and functions of the unit with SHERPA the escort vehicle will be on display.
The K9 demonstration showing how the dogs are trained, culminating in a hands on display of the K9’s with a narcotic demonstration with audience participation and an obedience display.
This event is must for both animal and history lovers.
With limited tickets available bookings are a must.
